Trainee Financial Accountant

At Saint-Gobain Finance Shared Services, we're looking for a Trainee Financial Accountant to join our Financial Accounting team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate, someone at the beginning of their finance career, who is looking to develop their knowledge within a supportive, collaborative environment.

• A recent graduate who has a genuine interest in financial accounting and a desire to build a long-term career in finance.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges.
• Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and confidence working with numbers.
• Good Excel skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across the business.

• Supporting the month-end and year-end close process across multiple Saint-Gobain entities.
• Preparing journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting with VAT returns.
• Working closely with colleagues across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and local Finance teams to ensure accurate financial records.
• Assisting with financial reporting and maintaining strong internal controls.
• Developing your technical accounting knowledge while working alongside experienced finance professionals.
