A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a modern, forward-thinking financial planning practice based in Basingstoke. Working as part of a collaborative and highly skilled team, you will provide vital technical support to successful Financial Planners, producing detailed analysis and suitability reports to help deliver tailored financial planning solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing detailed suitability reports covering pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning
- Carrying out technical research and analysis to support client recommendations
- Supporting Financial Planners with pre- and post-meeting preparation
- Reviewing existing client portfolios and identifying planning opportunities
- Liaising with product providers and internal teams to ensure efficient case progression
- Supporting ongoing client servicing, including annual reviews and recommendations
- Previous experience working as a Paraplanner within a financial planning or wealth management environment
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and broader financial planning matters
- Diploma qualified (Level
4), with progression towards Chartered status desirable - Excellent report writing skills and strong attention to detail
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- A proactive, collaborative, and team-focused approach
- Basic salary up to £50,000
- Hybrid working – 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
