The organisation works with a range of UK and international clients, providing specialist outsourcing solutions that require rigorous financial management, regulatory compliance, and client-focused reporting. The finance team plays a central role in the business and this is a visible position with direct exposure to senior stakeholders.

The Role We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented part-qualified accountant to join the finance function. This is a hands-on role covering day-to-day financial operations, management reporting, and compliance activity. It suits someone who is progressing through their professional qualification and is looking for a role that will accelerate their development with real variety and ownership.

Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records and process daily transactions including expenses, revenue, and bank activity Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activity Assist with VAT returns, payroll processing, and compliance with HMRC obligations Liaise with external auditors and provide supporting documentation during audit periods Monitor expenditure against budget and highlight variances to management Contribute to the ongoing improvement of financial systems, processes, and controls Use accounting software and Excel to maintain data accuracy and streamline reporting What You Will Need Essential Part-qualified or actively studying towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA Solid grounding in core accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (Sage, SAP, Oracle or similar) Strong attention to detail with good organisational and time management skills Able to work independently and manage own workload effectively
