A role within Markets Operations means that you will have a global reach, in a supportive environment which will provide you with new experiences and development opportunities right here in Belfast’s iconic Titanic Quarter.

You can play an important part in transforming and simplifying our operating model.

The Operations Analyst is responsible for processing all orders and transactions from our trading desks and branch offices. The team is responsible for providing front‑to‑back support for all financial transactions.

• Provide analytical and administrative support with transactions
• Liaise with key stakeholders throughout the company
• Complete daily tasks accurately and on time
• Manage, escalo and resolve all requests, inquiries and issues
• Develop a technical understanding of supporting applications and identify inefficiencies in the existing process
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made whilst adhering to the appropriate policies and legislation

• Ability to multitask in a high‑risk environment
• Experience in Microsoft packages
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
• Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently

Successful candidates will attend a three‑week Market Operations Training Academy if required. This aims to help you understand how Markets Operations work and where your role fits in in Citi while also providing you with all the tools needed to be the best you can be in your new role.

This role will provide you with an opportunity to work globally with stakeholders of all levels whilst getting exposure and developing an in-depth understanding of the full trade lifecycle.
