The Opportunity Reporting into the Finance Director and working within a close-knit finance team, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting business decisions, and helping drive improvements across finance processes. This is an exciting time to join, with the business implementing a new ERP system, giving you the opportunity to be involved in systems development, reporting enhancements, and process improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate monthly management accounts with meaningful analysis and commentary. Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the integrity of financial records. Support multiple group entities, ensuring consistent financial reporting and compliance. Assist with year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors. Support VAT returns, corporation tax processes and wider statutory compliance. Produce product costing information and support costing activities.
Process staff expenses. Contribute to finance improvement projects and provide ad hoc analysis when required. Play an active role in the implementation of a new ERP system and the development of financial reporting and analytics. About You We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a business that's investing in its future.
You'll ideally have:
Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent). Around two years' experience in a management accounting role. Previous experience within manufacturing or FMCG. Experience preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations. Knowledge of audit support and tax compliance. Strong Excel skills.
Experience with ERP systems or systems implementation would be advantageous. Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills. A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
