Your Role

As a Lead Finance Business Partner, you’ll play a key leadership role in supporting financial governance, compliance and strategic decision-making across the Single Source Rates programme. You’ll ensure that pricing, reporting, and cost structures align with regulatory requirements, while enabling accurate and insightful financial planning.

Day-to-day, you’ll have the opportunity to work at the centre of finance, regulation and programme delivery in a defence environment. Your expertise will directly support critical national infrastructure and defence programmes, while giving you exposure to senior stakeholders, complex financial frameworks, and opportunities to drive improvement across systems and processes.

  • Providing financial leadership to ensure compliance with Single Source regulations and governance frameworks
  • Supporting pricing, cost classification and financial reporting activities across programmes
  • Advising senior stakeholders with financial insight to support decision-making and strategic planning
  • Leading on audit support, regulatory queries and continuous improvement of financial processes
  • Managing and improving financial systems, data integrity and reporting outputs

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.

Essential Experience
  • Strong knowledge of Single Source regulations and financial governance in regulated environments
  • Experience in financial reporting, cost modelling and pricing activities
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insight

    Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior levels
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance processes and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Recognised professional accounting qualification (such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
