Broadstone has an exciting opportunity for a Paraplanner/Trainee Financial Adviser to join their team. Broadstone is a thriving consultancy offering a wide range of services in pensions, investments, and employee benefits. Established in 1989, the business has grown to a workforce of around 850.

We operate out of 13 regional hubs stretching from London to Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Producing high‑quality paraplanning work, including research, analysis, technical summaries, recommendation rationale and suitability documentation.
  • Supporting advisers and clients across pensions, retirement planning, investments, tax‑efficient planning, estate planning and protection.
  • Using the financial planning system (Dynamic Planner) to support the advice process, including risk profiling, cashflow modelling, client reviews and planning outputs.
  • Gradually building and managing own client bank, aligned to experience, business need and internal advice processes.
Your Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience as a Paraplanner, including the preparation of suitability reports, technical research, recommendation rationale and advice files.
  • Level 4 qualification in regulated financial planning, or clear progress toward this qualification.
  • Strong knowledge in pensions, investment planning, risk profiling, asset allocation, tax‑efficient savings and protection planning.
  • Confident in communicating with others, both written and verbally.
