Finance Manager - Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire
Part-time 24-30 hours per week Monday to Friday.

We are looking for a commercially astute fully qualified accountant to lead the finance function of a diverse group who provide mechanical products and service contracts to the leisure and tourism markets.
Reporting into the Managing Director, this is a hands‑on varied role working across the different companies, collaborating with multiple stakeholders, leading a team of two finance administrators, and taking responsibility for the group’s financial reporting, controls and management information.

Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts.
- Produce management reports, financial analysis and KPI reporting.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance and investigate variances.
- Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations completed by the Finance Administrators.
- Review and submit VAT returns and ensure statutory compliance.
- Maintain strong financial controls and recommend process improvements.
- Liaise with external accountants and support year‑end accounts.
- Lead, support and develop two Finance Administrators.
- Provide financial insight to support the operational and commercial leadership teams.
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification
- Experience preparing management accounts for a diverse commercial enterprise.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong Excel and accounting systems knowledge.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- A hands‑on approach and willingness to support operational finance activities.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
