Financial Accountant At a Glance Full Time, Permanent Hybrid £45 - £50K About the Company Our client is a well-established, multi-divisional organisation with a strong reputation in its sector and a genuinely growing finance function. They have a track record of developing accountants from their first industry move right through to senior finance positions, and offer a level of support and structure that's hard to find in a first industry role.

The Role This is a rare opportunity for a newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) to step into a broad, hands-on finance role with real responsibility from day one. Rather than being confined to a narrow reporting function, you'll manage the accounting function for one of the organisation's divisions and supervise a small finance team, giving you exposure and ownership well beyond what most first industry roles offer.

Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts Produce trial balances and complete balance sheet reconciliations Support the year-end audit process, budgeting and forecasting Oversee payroll, ledgers and transactional processes Supervise and support a small finance team Maintain and strengthen financial controls across the division Liaise with senior finance stakeholders on reporting and process improvements What You'll Need Essential:
Newly or part qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Strong trial balance and reconciliation experience Excellent Excel and financial systems skills Highly organised with strong attention to detail Desirable:
