Volunteer Treasurer - Founding Board; Remote

ORCD UK, the British arm of a humanitarian organisation that has worked across Afghanistan for over a decade, is seeking a Treasurer for its founding board.

As Treasurer, you would oversee financial governance, help establish sound systems and controls, support our charity registration and advise the board on financial matters. You would join a small, committed team at a pivotal moment.

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or someone with strong financial-management experience, who shares our commitment to transparency and impact. The role is voluntary, flexible and remote around 4 to 6 hours a month for the first few months and 4 hours thereafter plus quarterly board meetings.
