Finance Assistant

Our client is a well-established, privately owned group of businesses with a diverse portfolio of operations across the property sector. They are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their friendly finance team, supporting the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations across multiple entities. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a varied role that combines transactional finance with wider administrative responsibilities.

• Process supplier invoices accurately across multiple group companies.
• Maintain organised financial records and ensure documentation is filed correctly.
• Manage finance inboxes and respond to internal and external queries.
• Assist with payment runs and monitor outstanding approvals.
• Support expense processing and maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform data entry and assist with ledger maintenance and reconciliations.
• Liaise with suppliers and colleagues to resolve invoice and payment queries.
• Provide administrative support to the wider finance team.
• Assist with month-end processes and reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in finance administration and processes.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience.
• 35-hour working week.
• Hybrid working with home working on Fridays.
• 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
