About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Operations Finance Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day finance operations and transactional processes. In this role, you will be instrumental in building, documenting, and scaling robust internal controls, governance, and procedures to support our continued growth.
You will lead core operational functions—including AP, AR, payroll oversight, expenses and tax compliance—while partnering closely with commercial teams and cross-functional stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant with a passion for process optimization, automation, and team mentorship to make a tangible impact across the business.
About you:
- Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification is required, with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience focused on finance operations.

Proven track record of managing, coaching, and delegating effectively to junior team members. - Systems & ERP:
Experience with
Net Suite is highly advantageous; strong proficiency with financial software and operational tech stacks. - Mindset & Drive: A motivated self-starter who thrives on tackling complex challenges, driving continuous improvement, and proactively delivering value to senior leadership.
- Tax & Compliance:
Demonstrated, hands-on experience with VAT returns and employee-related taxes.
What will you be doing?
Operations & Process Improvement- Establish, lead, and optimize day-to-day finance operations, ensuring core transactional processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Design, document, and continuously improve robust financial procedures, internal controls, and governance frameworks to support business scalability.
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement across the department by leveraging technology, automation, and process redesign.
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P): Oversee AP operations, ensuring accurate, timely invoice processing, supplier payments, cash management with banking partners, and strengthened supplier onboarding/governance.
- Order-to-Cash (O2C): Oversee billings, collections, and debtor management to optimize cash conversion and minimize aged debt.
- Payroll & Expenses: Review and oversee monthly payroll with our third-party provider, ensuring accurate calculations and full documentation. Manage corporate cards and assist with fortnightly expense reclaim reviews.
- Month-End & Reconciliations: Prepare and review key control account reconciliations during month-end closes.
- Partner with commercial teams to establish clear, consistent revenue recognition processes aligned with company goals.
- Lead regular meetings with business stakeholders to build strong cross-functional relationships and align operational priorities.
- Mentor, coach, and guide junior team members, delegating work effectively and serving as an escalation point for complex operational issues.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and support key strategic projects for senior leadership and the broader finance team.
