Join our Personal Lines Pricing team as a Pricing Specialist and play a key role in shaping how we price our products. You'll develop and enhance pricing models, influence strategy, and work with teams across the business to solve complex problems and deliver fair, accurate pricing for customers. A key part of the role will be identifying opportunities to streamline and automate pricing processes, helping us deliver insights and pricing changes more quickly and efficiently.

You'll also help build capability within the team and drive continuous improvement in our tools and ways of working.  The role will be based out of our Stratford-upon-Avon offices, where you will need to spend 20% of your time, with up to 80% home-working on offer.## About youYou're a highly experienced pricing professional with a strong track record of developing pricing solutions and using analytical insight to influence business decisions.

You combine deep technical expertise with commercial awareness and enjoy identifying opportunities to improve pricing capability, effectiveness and performance.  You thrive in environments where you can challenge conventional thinking, influence stakeholders and drive positive change. Comfortable operating at both strategic and technical levels, you can translate complex analysis into compelling recommendations and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.  

You are naturally inquisitive and forward-thinking, with the credibility and confidence to influence decision-making across functions. Alongside your technical capability, you're passionate about developing others, sharing knowledge and helping teams succeed.  
** So, the ideal candidate will have:*
* * Significant experience within a General Insurance pricing function with responsibility for pricing outputs (knowledge of Personal Lines insurance would be highly desirable)  
* Extensive experience developing, reviewing and enhancing risk pricing models and technical rates  
* Experience developing innovative pricing approaches, or technical solutions  
* Experience of online distribution channels and digital pricing environments would be advantageous  
* Experience using pricing software such as Emblem and Radar as well as SQL and data science techniques (desirable)  
* Experience coaching, mentoring and developing technical colleagues  
* The ability to build credibility and influence at senior stakeholder level
