- Develop and maintain relationships with local brokers, exchanges, and institutional clients across the CEEMEA region, leveraging market intelligence to identify trading opportunities and deliver tailored execution solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales trading, equity research, derivatives, and technology teams to provide comprehensive market insights, support client coverage, and contribute to the development of innovative trading strategies and electronic execution tools.
- Monitor market developments including macroeconomic trends, geopolitical events, regulatory changes, and corporate actions across CEEMEA markets, translating insights into actionable trading strategies and client recommendations.
- Proven experience in cash equities trading, preferably with exposure to emerging markets, EMEA, or CEEMEA equities, demonstrating a strong track record of execution, market making, and risk management in fast-paced trading environments.
- Deep understanding of market microstructure including order types, execution algorithms, liquidity dynamics, and the regulatory landscape across multiple CEEMEA exchanges and trading venues.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex market data, financial models, and research reports; proficiency in Excel is essential, and experience with programming languages such as Python, VBA, or SQL is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to interact effectively with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders; ability to articulate market views clearly and provide actionable insights under pressure.
- Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment characterized by market volatility, geopolitical uncertainty, and rapid technological change; demonstrated agility, tenacity, and a will-to-win in complex situations.
