Junior Finance Business Partner

Grade 6, Scale Point 21-25

Salary
: £34,236 to £37,562 (this is a full-time salary. Part time will be pro rata)

Hours
: 35 per week - office based with some home working (flexible)

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and detail-focused Finance Officer to join our growing Multi-Academy Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working in a varied role, supporting both the central trust team and our schools to deliver high-quality financial management and administrative support.

The role will include; support the Head of Finance with year-end processes and preparation of statutory accounts, assisting in the production of monthly management accounts and financial reports and monitoring income and expenditure against budgets. There are also responsibilities in banking, staffing finance, purchase ledger and supplier management.

The successful candidate will possess good numeracy and literary skills. A recognised accountancy qualification CIMA/ACCA/AAT or a willingness to work towards one is desirable. They must be a confident communicator as a key element of the role is in providing advice and guidance to school-based staff on financial procedures and payroll processes as well as supporting the on-boarding of new schools and new recruits.

We are a flexible employer, and this role can be a blend of home and office working. We are also happy to consider candidates seeking term time plus working arrangements. The role will be based in our CLIC Central Team office, Chorlton Park Primary School.
