We are working with a growing financial advice business that is looking to hire a second Paraplanner to join its expanding team in the London office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner who wants more than simply producing reports. You will join a supportive, ambitious team with a clear progression route into senior paraplanning and, potentially, becoming a fully qualified Financial Adviser.
The opportunityThe business currently consists of four Financial Advisers, one Paraplanner and an Operations Manager, with plans to grow to eight Advisers and four support professionals.
You will work closely with the existing Paraplanner, Operations Manager and Advisers, helping to deliver high-quality financial planning and ongoing service to clients.
Your responsibilities will include- Preparing suitability reports and financial planning documentation
- Conducting product, fund and provider research
- Producing cashflow and financial planning analysis
- Supporting Advisers with new business and ongoing client reviews
- Ensuring cases meet internal compliance and quality standards
- Liaising with Advisers, administrators, providers and clients
- Helping improve paraplanning processes as the team grows
The preferred candidate will have:
- Strong technical paraplanning experience
- Level 4 qualifications or progress towards completion
- A good understanding of pensions, investments and protection
- Strong report-writing and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ambition to develop within a growing financial advice business
You will complete a structured two-week onboarding programme covering the business, its clients, processes and the wider proposition.

For someone who wants to move into advice, the business can support progression through the The typical journey to becoming a fully qualified Adviser is expected to take approximately three to five years.
Upon graduating as a Financial Adviser, you will be given an existing book of clients to manage while also developing and generating new client relationships.
Package- Up to 10% discretionary annual bonus
