Chartered Paraplanner

I'm looking for an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join a successful and well established IFA practice in London as it embarks on it's next growth phase. This is a key technical role supporting Financial Advisers through the delivery of high-quality, compliant financial planning recommendations and suitability reports. You'll work across a broad range of advice areas including pensions, investments, inheritance tax planning and protection, while also helping to mentor and develop junior paraplanners within the team.

Key responsibilities include:

Producing accurate and compliant suitability reports in line with FCA requirements

Undertaking complex financial planning research and analysis across pensions (DB & DC), retirement planning, investments, estate planning, protection, and taxation

Reviewing adviser recommendations for technical accuracy and regulatory compliance

Supporting advisers with client meeting preparation and ensuring cases progress efficiently

Liaising with providers and maintaining accurate records and documentation

Acting as a technical point of reference for advisers and paraplanners

Contributing to process improvements, training, and paraplanning best practice

Requirements for the role:

Paraplanning experience within a UK financial advice firm Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and tax planning

Proven experience writing complex suitability reports

Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills

Strong understanding of FCA regulation and compliance requirements

Ability to manage multiple cases and work independently Essential qualification:

CII Level 6 Advanced Diploma Good to have:

Experience mentoring junior staff
