About you:

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with practical, hands-on experience
• Strong attention to detail coupled with strategic insight
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS and taxation legislation
• Proven experience managing statutory and management accounts
• Leadership experience in mentoring and developing finance teams
• Available at short notice

What you'll do:

• Lead the preparation of management and statutory financial reports, including KPIs and commentary
• Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Manage the audit process and external reporting requirements, including grant submissions
• Supervise transactional finance activities and treasury operations
• Drive improvements in ERP systems, focusing on automation and process efficiencies
• Support compliance with HMRC and internal policies
• Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a collaborative environment
• Build strong cross-departmental relationships to inform strategic financial decisions
