This opportunity is ideal for a qualified accountant with strong financial planning and management reporting experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence decision-making at a senior level.

The Role:

Co-ordinate the development of long-term financial plans, budgets and forecasts. Produce monthly management accounts, financial reports and variance analysis, presenting key findings to senior stakeholders. Provide financial advice and business partnering support to budget holders, challenging where appropriate to support effective decision-making. Support the development of business cases, investment appraisals and capital planning activities. Analyse financial and performance data to identify trends, efficiencies and opportunities for cost savings.

Complete financial returns and support regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with governance and audit requirements. Utilise advanced Excel and financial systems to produce accurate financial information and support reporting requirements. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing financial processes, systems and organisational performance.

The Person The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Essential:
Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent). Post-qualification experience in a similar finance role (or equivalent combination of relevant experience). Demonstrable experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and business partnering. Experience building relationships and influencing stakeholders at a senior level. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling and analysis. What's in it for you? Competitive salary.
