About the Job

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the finance function for a key business division, leading a small finance team while providing commercial insight to support strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop a small finance team, providing coaching and mentoring
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial performance reports and Board reporting packs
• Take ownership of budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
• Partner with operational teams to provide commercial insight and improve profitability
• Improve financial controls, reporting processes and operational efficiencies
• Work closely with senior leadership on strategic finance projects and business growth initiatives

About You

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant
• Previous experience managing and developing finance teams
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Commercially minded with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organised with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
