Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations while providing the insight, challenge and commercial support needed to help shape the future direction of the business.
- Leading the financial operations to ensure robust control and accurate reporting, supporting strategic decision-making
- Overseeing the production of management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to facilitate ongoing business growth
- Providing insightful financial analysis and business partnering across senior and operational teams to optimise profitability and efficiency
- Maintaining control over stock valuation, inventory reconciliations, and identifying risks related to stock management
- Managing relationships with external auditors, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and driving continuous process improvements within the finance function
- Qualified or qualified‑by‑experience finance professionals with proven senior finance management experience, ideally within an SME environment
- Demonstrates a strategic mindset with the ability to manage both detailed financial processes and broader commercial initiatives
- Approachable, collaborative, and confident in engaging with non-finance stakeholders to influence positive business outcomes
- Skilled in producing management and financial reporting, with good knowledge of stock, inventory, and working capital management
- Adept at leading and developing small finance teams and championing a high standard of financial control
- Salary will be dependent on experience
