Sharp Consultancy are currently supporting a well-established business based in Harrogate who are the leaders in their market. They are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the business focusing on Purchase Ledger with room for development and progression.

Job Duties:

Bank reconciliations
Processing purchase invoices, preparing statement runs and preparation of payroll schedules
Intercompany recharging and bank reconciliations
Support month end processes inclusive of (accruals, prepayments and deferred income)
Management of supplier queries over the phone
Working closely with other members of the finance team
Any additional ad hoc duties across the team

About you:

Previous experience within purchase ledger or a finance role
Well organised
Attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What’s on offer:

Salary up to £32000
40 hours per week
1 day work from home
26 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Study support for AAT, ACCA or CIMA (once probationary period has been completed)

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
