HireIQ are partnering with a well-established, leading business as they hire for a Financial Controller due to continued growth, and progression in their Finance team.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, it's an excellent opportunity to broaden your skill set, strengthen your CV and progress your career.

About the job:

• Ownership of monthly management accounts, board reporting and financial performance analysis.
• Take ownership of budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting, providing meaningful insights to support decision-making.
• Maintain strong balance sheet control, oversee statutory reporting and support the external audit process.
• Partner closely with Operations to improve performance, product costing, margins and working capital.
• Deliver commercial analysis, KPI reporting and financial insight to support business performance and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen financial controls and support ongoing systems improvements.
• Lead and develop the finance team, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

About you:

• Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA with experience in a similar role
• Commercially focused
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player who can work collaboratively
