Financial Analyst
We are looking for a Financial Data & Vendor Analyst to support the management of financial data, research and technology providers within a leading investment-management environment.
You will help coordinate vendor requests, contracts, renewals, budgets and reporting, while maintaining accurate information across internal systems. You will work closely with stakeholders across data, finance, legal and technology and communicate directly with external vendors.
Extensive vendor-management or procurement experience is not required. We are looking for someone with an understanding of financial markets, exceptional attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn. The successful candidate will be organised, receptive to feedback and comfortable asking questions when clarification is needed.
This is an opportunity to receive hands-on training and develop specialist expertise in financial data and vendor management. The role is based in London and requires four days per week in the office.
Requirements- Some professional experience within financial services, investment management, financial data, research, technology or a related environment
- A working understanding of financial markets and the role that data and research providers play within investment firms
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate contract, pricing, budget and vendor information
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including organising, reviewing and reconciling data
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM), including contract initiation, approval, execution, storage and renewal
- Experience using Docu Sign or a similar electronic-signature platform
- Familiarity with Workday or another enterprise workflow, finance or procurement system
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ability to manage multiple requests, deadlines and follow-up actions - Sound judgment when handling confidential and commercially sensitive information
- A willingness to learn, ask questions, accept feedback and follow established processes
- The right to work in the United Kingdom
- Ability to work from the London office four days per week
