We’ve got a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team as a Financial Crime Investigator. In this role, you will undertake Financial Crime Investigations and subsequent required actions through having specialist knowledge and expertise in anti-money laundering, Client Screening, terrorist financing and tax evasion.

Your working hours will be between 8am – 8pm Monday to Friday.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will be responsible for completing enhanced due diligence and (Know Your Customer) KYC reviews on medium and high-risk customers, including detailed transactional analysis and robust assessments of source of wealth and source of funds. You will ensure that VMUK appropriately assesses risk and clearly documents well‑reasoned, plausible rationales for all customers on our books. This includes working independently, with a high level of autonomy, to complete periodic reviews to a consistently high standard.

You will produce accurate, well‑evidenced retail customer risk assessments, recognising that poor or inconsistent rationale can expose both you and the bank to significant regulatory, reputational, and legal risks.
