Role DescriptionThis is a part-time admin/paraplanner role, structured as a full-time-equivalent responsibility split across reduced working hours. The role is hybrid, based in Beverley with some flexibility to work from home. Day-to-day tasks include supporting financial advisers with preparing and maintaining client files, drafting financial reports and suitability letters, and collating documentation for meetings. The role also involves managing administrative processes, updating client records and systems, and assisting with research on financial products, investments, and planning strategies.
The successful candidate will help ensure advice is accurately documented, compliant, and delivered in a timely manner, while providing general office and client service support as needed.
- Strong foundation in Finance and Financial Planning, with the ability to understand and support bespoke client strategies.
- Analytical Skills to interpret financial information, assess client needs, and support investment and planning recommendations.
- Knowledge of Investments and related products, with an interest in market developments and suitability considerations.
- Proficiency in Report Writing, including clear, structured suitability reports and client correspondence.
- Good IT skills, including use of financial planning software, CRM systems, and standard office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, client-centered approach.
- Previous experience in financial services, paraplanning, or administrative support within an advisory environment is advantageous.
- Relevant financial planning qualifications (such as working towards or holding a paraplanning or financial advice certification) are beneficial but not mandatory.
