Joining our Interest Rate Derivatives Trading team, you will play a key role in developing and expanding our Emerging Markets Macro franchise, applying your market expertise to identify opportunities, manage risk and drive commercial outcomes across a dynamic and international landscape.

What role will you play?Working as part of our Emerging Markets Macro Trading desk, within the Interest Rate Derivatives team, you will independently manage risk and trade macro products with a particular focus on Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa markets. Leveraging your market insight and entrepreneurial mindset, you will identify and execute trading opportunities while contributing to the growth of the franchise and delivering value for clients.
Close collaboration with colleagues across trading, sales and risk functions will enable you to navigate cross-border market access, balance sheet considerations and funding dynamics, helping to shape innovative approaches to risk management and business development. As part of a close-knit and highly collaborative trading team, you will be expected to communicate openly, share market views and ideas proactively, and contribute to a strong team culture that supports effective decision-making and collective success across the desk.
you offer
- 6-10 years’ experience trading interest rate and macro products, with a strong focus on Emerging Markets
- Demonstrated ability to initiate risk positions, manage risk independently and deliver consistent trading performance in dynamic market environments
- Strong understanding of Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa markets, including cross-border trading considerations and funding dynamics
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of identifying opportunities, building relationships and contributing to franchise growth
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders and functions across a global organisation
