Governance & Controls Specialist

The Business Banking Controls team exists to enable safe, sustainable growth. We are committed to driving risk excellence and are passionate about proactive risk management in the first line of defence. We are on an exciting journey to grow our team and need someone to join us in ensuring the effective management of a complex and varied risk profile. As a Governance & Controls Specialist, you won’t just maintain the profile, you’ll shape it.

You’ll partner with senior stakeholders across Business Banking to strengthen the control environment, embed risk awareness and lead meaningful change in how we think about risk within the first line of defence.

For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our Glasgow
, Northampton or London office .

You’ll be acting as an advisor to senior business leaders, embedding a strong control environment that supports Business Banking objectives while maintaining risk integrity through a continuous improvement approach to the ongoing management of the profile.
