LeSolace Corporation is looking for a Mortgage Associate who lives in Alberta and wants to build their business in the mortgage industry.
Newly licensed associates and individuals who have completed the applicable Alberta mortgage licensing education and are ready to become licensed are encouraged to apply. Experienced associates are also welcome.
This is a fully remote, independent contractor, commission-based opportunity.

What You Will Do
As a Mortgage Associate, you will:
- Develop your own client and referral network through prospecting, networking and follow-up.
- Speak with clients about their mortgage needs and financial circumstances.
- Review income, credit, debt, down payment, equity and property information.
- Collect and organize documentation required for mortgage applications.
- Structure and package mortgage files for lender review.
- Communicate with clients, lenders, lawyers, appraisers and referral partners.
- Maintain accurate notes, records and compliance documentation.
- Follow mortgage files from the initial conversation through approval and funding.
You must:
- Currently live in Alberta.
- Be licensed with RECA or have completed the applicable mortgage licensing education and be ready to become licensed.
- Be comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Be organized and pay close attention to documents and deadlines.
- Be comfortable prospecting and developing professional relationships.
- Follow through on responsibilities without needing constant supervision.
- Be comfortable using online systems, CRM software and digital documentation.
- Understand the importance of privacy, compliance and accurate record keeping.
- Be honest, coachable and willing to learn.
Compensation
- This is an independent contractor, commission-based opportunity.
- There is no salary or hourly wage.
- Mortgage leads are not guaranteed, and associates are expected to develop their own clients and referral relationships.
- The commission structure will be discussed during the interview and confirmed before joining the brokerage.
