Credit Analyst, Financial Analyst, Risk Manager/Analyst, Corporate Finance
Responsibilities
- Work closely with other Analysts, VPs and senior Bankers to provide critical support across LFU’s core functions:
Leveraged Finance transaction underwriting and credit approval; - Periodic credit monitoring and early problem recognition;
- Application of internal leveraged lending policies and procedures;
- Global leveraged lending related projects and strategic initiatives;
- Drive the credit approval process of fast‑paced and complex leveraged buyouts working in tandem with Capital Markets, Banking, and Risk.
- Conduct in-depth credit analysis/due diligence and play a key role in preparing credit memorandums/financial models;
- Research and develop robust understanding of the fundamentals of the key industry trends and risk issues and develop the ability to succinctly convey thoughts and opinions to Risk Managers and Bankers;
- Responsible for monitoring news and events pertaining to Citi’s leveraged lending clients as well as providing regular updates to Bankers.
- Experience of credit analysis, due diligence, underwriting, origination or corporate banking related transactions, ideally within Leveraged Finance;
- Self‑starter and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment;
- Team player with strong work ethic who also works well with others at all levels;
- Strong writing, analytical, quantitative communication, and presentation skills;
- Leadership skills and experience in coaching and mentoring Analysts;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Ability to break down large amounts of data into concise, easy to understand formats;
- Previous credit or related leveraged finance experience;
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
