Hybrid Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 OTE: £65,000 uncapped Salary on achieving CAS: £48,000 basic The opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner or Senior IFA Administrator to take the next step in their career and transition into a Financial Adviser position. This is a genuine career progression opportunity, offering the stability of a strong basic salary alongside an uncapped bonus structure and a clear, fully supported route towards achieving Competent Adviser Status (CAS).

You will initially utilise your existing technical expertise across paraplanning and client support, whilst working closely with experienced advisers and gradually taking on greater responsibility for client relationships, meetings and advice. The role would suit someone who has developed a strong technical foundation within an IFA environment and is now ready to move towards a client-facing advisory career. Key responsibilities Prepare comprehensive, accurate and compliant suitability reports and recommendations.

Undertake fund research, analysis and technical research to support client recommendations. Work closely with experienced Financial Advisers, initially shadowing client meetings before progressively taking ownership of your own clients. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Assist with client reviews and gradually take responsibility for your own portfolio. Provide holistic financial planning advice across areas including pensions, investments and protection as you progress towards CAS.

Ensure all advice and client activity is delivered within the firm's compliance framework and regulatory requirements. Continue developing your technical and professional knowledge through ongoing training and fully funded professional qualifications. About you We are looking for an ambitious and technically strong financial services professional who is ready to take the next step into Financial Advice. Ideally, you will have:
Previous experience working within an IFA environment as a Paraplanner, Senior Paraplanner or Senior IFA Administrator. Strong experience preparing complex suitability reports and supporting regulated financial advice. Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS/CII/CISI) or be close to completing your qualification. A strong technical understanding of pensions, investments and protection. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. High emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust with clients.

A genuine ambition to develop a long-term career as a Financial Adviser. The ability to work independently while also being part of a supportive advisory team. A location within a reasonable commuting distance of Buxton. What’s on offer £38,000 – £42,000 starting salary depending on experience and qualifications. Uncapped earning potential with OTE of £65,000. No minimum bonus threshold, allowing you to benefit from your client successes from your first cases.
