About the Company:
Templegate Recruitment is proud to be working with a well-established, independent financial planning firm seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner or Paraplanning Manager to join their growing business. This opportunity has arisen as the current Senior Paraplanner is progressing into a Financial Adviser position, creating an exciting opening for someone looking to take the next step in their career. The business has a close-knit and collaborative culture, with a dedicated team of four paraplanners.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys remaining hands-on while also leading, mentoring and supporting a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage and develop a team of four paraplanners. Produce high-quality suitability reports and financial planning documentation. Conduct technical research across pensions, investments and protection products. Work closely with Financial Advisers to deliver excellent client outcomes. Review and maintain high standards of report writing and technical accuracy. Provide guidance, mentoring and technical support to the paraplanning team. Assist with process improvements and ensure efficient workflow management.
Utilise Salesforce and other internal systems effectively. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry legislation and regulatory changes.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a Senior Paraplanner or in a Paraplanning leadership role. Ability to lead, motivate and support a small team. Excellent technical knowledge across pensions, investments and financial planning. Strong report writing and analytical skills. Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ideally Chartered Financial Planner or Fellow qualified; however, candidates with significant paraplanning experience and strong technical ability will also be considered.
Desirable
Skills:
Chartered Status or Fellow qualification. Previous people management or mentoring experience. Strong technical and compliance knowledge. Ability to work collaboratively within a small, supportive team. Passion for developing colleagues and improving processes.
