Accounts Assistant Salary:

West London (TW4) Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home We’re working with a successful and established business in West London who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their vibrant and sociable finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with some basic accounts payable experience who is looking to broaden their finance exposure.

You’ll get involved across AP, AR, credit control, reconciliations and reporting, with plenty of opportunity to learn and develop as you go.

The Role Processing supplier invoices and supporting with payment runs Dealing with supplier queries and completing supplier reconciliations Processing and reconciling customer receipts Raising invoices and credit notes Supporting with credit control and chasing outstanding payments Completing bank and card reconciliations Maintaining accurate customer and supplier accounts Supporting with accounts preparation up to trial balance Assisting with regular revenue and finance reporting Supporting with month-end tasks and ad hoc analysis Getting involved in wider finance duties and projects as required About You Some previous accounts payable experience A good basic understanding of finance and bookkeeping Organised with strong attention to detail Confident using systems and comfortable learning new ones Xero experience would be beneficial but isn’t essential A positive, proactive approach and willingness to get involved Keen to learn and broaden your finance experience If you have a good grounding in accounts payable and are looking for an opportunity to broaden your experience within a friendly, sociable finance team, we’d love to hear from you.
