Interim Financial Modeller

Location: Fulwood

Exciting opportunity to join a global financial services Group at a time of huge change, working very closely with the Group Financial Controller and Head Office. This is initially a three month contract with a view to extend. You will work with the Group Consolidations & Reporting Team and new reporting requirements now require the Group to create sub consolidations with separate balance sheets and P&L reporting.

The role is delivery focused to design and build a set of simple, robust, documented Excel based sub consolidation models. Duties will include:

- Responsibility of the Group Financial Modeller Interim Role:

- Design an Excel sub consilidation framework, with over 200 trail balances, including cash and actual reporting Design the model to keep formulas and structure as simple as possible, providing controls and transparency Implement an adjustment layer to support manual consolidations Build a scalable model to support AI, potential extensions to consolidations and the ability to run separate views for the Group Build robust reconciliations, precise P&L, balance sheets and cashflow Requirements of the Group Financial Modeller Interim Role:

- Advanced Excel modeling skills Proven track record of building complex models in a multi national group

Experience of working with huge numbers of trail balances and consolidation Strong financial background including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow Power Query, VBA and Cognos are a huge advantage Benefits of the Group Financial Modeller Interim Role:
