Senior finance business partner - Healthcare sector My client is a fast growing, national group that offers a range of services to the healthcare sector. Due to a recent contract win, they now look to expand their commercial finance offering to the business with this key new hire. You will directly challenge up to C-suite level, using analytics and budget drivers.

Typically, finance professionals have long tenure and multiple promotions in this business, and "high fliers" can be offered opportunities in commercial and operations to expand their experience. What you are responsible for:
Acting as the lead finance business partner for support functions such as but not limited to Shared Services, Corporate Overheads, customer Engagement Centres by providing senior-level financial insight across P&L and balance sheet. Supporting senior leaders with clear, objective analysis to inform strategy, prioritisation and decision-making across complex, cross-functional areas. Translating financial performance into a clear and coherent narrative, articulating trends, risks and opportunities in a way that supports timely and well-informed decisions.

Financial Planning, Forecasting & Performance Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning across the portfolio, ensuring plans are robust, affordable and aligned to Group Finance priorities. Reviewing forecasts and performance against plan, providing constructive challenge on assumptions, risks and mitigations. Supporting Monthly Business Reviews with high-quality financial insight, commentary and actions. Capital, Digital & Investment Oversight Providing financial oversight and challenge for capital projects, procurement activity and digital programmes.

Reviewing business cases, investment appraisals and financial models to ensure value for money and appropriate governance. Monitoring capital spend, benefits realisation and financial risks, escalating issues where required. People Services & Corporate Overheads Partnering with People Services on workforce planning, headcount modelling, affordability and people-related cost drivers. Providing financial oversight of Corporate Overheads, supporting cost control, transparency and efficiency. Supporting Whole Force Planning with scenario analysis and sensitivity modelling.

Shared Services, Offshore Operations & Ventures Providing financial oversight and insight across Shared Services activity, including offshore operations. Supporting financial governance, cost visibility and resilience across service delivery models. Risk, Governance & Collaboration Identifying financial risks and opportunities across the portfolio and ensuring these are understood, monitored and managed. Working closely with FP&A, Group Reporting, Tax and FP&A Finance Systems and Commercial Finance to ensure aligned, consistent and high-quality outputs.

Maintaining strong financial governance and control while enabling progress in a fast-moving environment. Leadership & Capability Leading, coaching and developing finance colleagues within the scope of the role. Building strong finance partnering capability and credibility with senior stakeholders. Supporting non-finance leaders to strengthen financial understanding and decision-making.
