In-house Tax Manager

JSS Tax are hiring for an in-house role for a Group Tax Manager for a recognizable business based in Birmingham (but supporting 3 days per week remote working).

This is a permanent role paying circa £55,000-£65,000 plus bonus and benefits package.

Working as part of a high-calibre in-house tax function, the Group Tax Manager will manage 1 direct report and will undertake a varied role looking after both direct tax and indirect tax issues.

Within that its a varied role
- This person will get involved in tax advisory, tax projects, preparation and review of tax compliance, tax process improvement and business partnering with different internal functions.

The hiring team are looking for someone with experience in either direct tax or indirect tax, gained either from a role in practice or from a similar in-house role
- Full training will be provided on any area where development is needed
