Company Description Vialto is a market leader in Global Mobility Services. Our purpose is to “Connect the World.” We are unique and the only stand-alone global mobility business. This presents a rare opportunity for our clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.  Our teams help companies streamline and effectively manage their global mobility programs in a cost-efficient and compliant manner. Our services focus on providing cross-border compliance and risk assessment for tax, immigration, business travel, rewards and compensation, and remote work.

Working at Vialto is about getting the chance to be part of a global and dynamic team. Globally, Vialto has over 8,000 staff worldwide and continues to grow. You will work with clients from a range of industries and different geographical locations. We believe in connecting the world and supporting our colleagues to do the same in their careers by undertaking assignments and opportunities globally that broaden their skills and ultimately benefit our clients.

Job Description Vialto is looking for a Tax Senior Associate to join our rapidly growing Private Clients team in the UK.

This role offers the opportunity to work with high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, executives, and internationally mobile private clients on a wide range of UK and international personal tax matters. We are looking for an individual with strong UK personal tax experience, particularly in relation to cross-border issues, who is keen to develop their technical expertise and progress in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of client work, develop strong client relationships, and work closely with Managers and senior team members to deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory services. The individual should have a strong desire to develop their understanding of the technical aspects of UK private client tax and gain exposure to increasingly complex advisory work.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Supporting the delivery of UK personal tax compliance and advisory services to a portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, internationally mobile employees, entrepreneurs, and family offices. Preparing and reviewing UK personal tax returns and related calculations, ensuring work is accurate, technically sound, and completed within agreed deadlines. Providing support on different tax matters including residence and domicile, cross-border taxation, income and capital gains tax, international mobility, and remittance and foreign income considerations.

Assisting with tax planning in relation to international moves, investments, succession planning, and changing personal circumstances. Acting as a day-to-day point of contact for clients, responding to queries and building strong, trusted relationships through proactive and high-quality communication. Working closely with Managers and senior team members on more complex client assignments, contributing to the delivery of tailored and commercially focused tax advice.

Liaising with HMRC and other external advisers where appropriate, with support from senior team members on more complex matters. Managing own workload effectively, prioritising competing deadlines and escalating technical or client issues to Managers where appropriate. Supporting the wider team with business development and practice development activities, including contributing to client proposals, presentations, and other initiatives where appropriate. Preferred skills and experience:
Experience in UK private client or personal tax, ideally within a professional services environment.  Good understanding of UK personal taxation and international/private client tax matters.  Experience preparing and/or reviewing UK personal tax compliance work and exposure to tax advisory assignments. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to interact directly with clients and internal stakeholders. A proactive approach to learning and developing technical tax knowledge.

Professional qualification such as ATT, ACA, ACCA, or CTA, or actively working towards a relevant qualification, preferred. Additional Information
