Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this is a varied role with responsibility for producing accurate management information, supporting month-end and year-end processes and providing financial analysis across the business. The successful candidate will also gain exposure across the wider finance function, including billing, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls, making this an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Accountant looking for a broad and hands-on role.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Producing management information for senior stakeholders Financial analysis and reporting on key business metrics Supporting billing and wider operational finance activities Preparation of journals and reconciliations Supporting payroll, VAT and other finance-related submissions Supporting audit, compliance and financial controls Assisting with credit control and wider transactional finance when required Driving process improvements and supporting ad-hoc finance projects Requirements:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Strong management accounting, reporting and analytical experience Advanced Excel skills and experience using finance systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities and work across the wider finance function Professional services experience would be advantageous but is not essential For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career, get in touch with Cian Duddy @ HIREIQ for a confidential chat.
