Mortgage Broker / Mortgage Administrator Great Opportunity for an Experienced Mortgage Broker

We are looking for an experienced self-employed Mortgage Broker who is seeking the benefits of an office-based environment while continuing to service their own client bank. This is a flexible opportunity that can be tailored to suit either a broker or an experienced mortgage administrator.

Full-time or part-time hours available (negotiable).

Based in our Hornchurch office, this role involves supporting clients throughout the entire mortgage process.

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing clients' mortgage requirements and circumstances.
• Gathering, reviewing, and verifying supporting documentation.
• Preparing and submitting mortgage applications.
• Liaising with lenders, clients, and internal teams to ensure cases progress smoothly and efficiently.
• Providing clients with regular updates and responding to enquiries.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Managing and progressing a pipeline of mortgage applications.
• Supporting continuous improvements in customer service and internal processes.

For qualified Mortgage Brokers, the role will also involve advising clients on suitable mortgage products and solutions.

Essential

Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of the UK mortgage market, lending criteria, and mortgage regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with our existing mortgage brokers and support team.
• Previous experience in mortgage administration, mortgage broking, or a similar financial services role.
