About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Analyst to join their prestigious investment banking division. This is a fully remote opportunity, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere in the country. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing complex mathematical models used for pricing financial derivatives, risk management, and algorithmic trading strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, advanced quantitative techniques, and exceptional programming skills.

You will work closely with traders, portfolio managers, and risk officers to deliver innovative solutions that drive profitability and manage risk effectively within a demanding, fast-paced global market environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, and implement quantitative models for pricing exotic options, structured products, and other financial instruments.
  • Design and refine algorithms for high-frequency trading and portfolio optimization.
  • Conduct rigorous back-testing and validation of trading strategies and risk models.
  • Collaborate with IT and trading desks to deploy models into production environments.
  • Perform ad-hoc quantitative analysis to support trading decisions and risk assessments.
  • Stay abreast of market developments and emerging quantitative methodologies.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative discipline such as Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Financial Engineering.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a quantitative role within investment banking or hedge funds.
  • Expert proficiency in C++ , Python, or similar high-performance programming languages.
  • Deep knowledge of financial derivatives, stochastic calculus, and numerical methods.
  • Experience with large-scale data analysis and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
