Workplace Pensions & Employee Benefits Consultant Stockton | £40,000–£50,000 depending on experience Full-time, with 3–4 days per week considered | 40 working-from-home days per year Do you have experience in workplace pensions, healthcare and group risk, and want a role where you can help shape a growing employee benefits business? CKB Recruitment is working with an expanding employee benefits consultancy to recruit a Workplace Pensions & Employee Benefits Consultant for its Stockton office.

This is an opportunity to combine technical expertise with client relationship management, supporting an existing portfolio while helping develop the business’s workplace pensions offering. You’ll join a consultancy whose work extends beyond traditional insured benefits, giving you the opportunity to help employers build benefit packages that meet the needs of their people. The opportunity Workplace pensions will be a central part of your role.

You’ll carry out technical reviews, provide ongoing advice and support, and produce and deliver annual Workplace Pension Governance Reviews. Alongside this, you’ll advise on healthcare and group risk, helping corporate clients review their arrangements and identify opportunities to improve them. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing and developing corporate client relationships, delivering a responsive and professional service. Reviewing workplace pension arrangements and delivering annual governance reviews. Supporting clients with healthcare and group risk market reviews, scheme design and implementation. Liaising with providers and overseeing ongoing scheme management. Helping employers communicate their benefits effectively to employees. Identifying suitable new business and cross-selling opportunities. Working with colleagues on wider benefits, including flexible benefits, salary sacrifice schemes, employee engagement and wellbeing.

Maintaining accurate records and high standards of compliance and quality. The experience you’ll need Workplace pensions experience is essential, gained within an employee benefits or financial planning environment. You must also have experience in healthcare and group risk. You’ll be comfortable explaining technical information clearly, building relationships and spotting opportunities to add value for clients. We’re looking for someone who is:
Professional, personable and focused on delivering excellent client outcomes. Commercially aware, with the confidence to identify and develop opportunities. Proactive and organised, with strong attention to detail. Comfortable taking ownership while working collaboratively with colleagues. You do not need to be a qualified Financial Planner. Relevant qualifications or financial planning experience would be an advantage. Where appropriate, and subject to internal and compliance approval, this could create opportunities to support financial wellbeing seminars for corporate clients and their employees.

Working arrangements The role is based from the Stockton office, with 40 working-from-home days per year. It is not a fully remote position. Full-time is preferred, although applications from candidates looking for three or four days per week will be considered. Office Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, however they offer flexi time, so you can work 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 10am to 6pm when needed Salary and benefits £40,000–£50,000, depending on experience.
