About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join their strategic finance team in Polokwane . This role is instrumental in providing critical financial insights, driving budgeting and forecasting processes, and supporting long-term strategic planning initiatives. You will work closely with various departments to analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated analyst to contribute to key business decisions within a growing organization in Polokwane .
- Develop and manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Prepare monthly financial performance reports, including variance analysis against budget and prior periods.
- Conduct in-depth financial modeling and scenario analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Analyze key financial and operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to provide financial guidance and support.
- Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for senior management and board meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CIMA) is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role.
- Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with financial planning software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
