Assistant Finance Business Partner

Location: Hillhead

Amazing opportunity to join a leading independent school as an Assistant Finance Business Partner, working closely with Senior Managers and reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner. The ideal person will have a background in management accounts with advanced Excel skills now looking to develop into a Business Partnering role working with non finance based Stakeholders. Duties will include:

- Responsibility of the Finance Business Partner Role:

- Oversee and manage daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Prepare and analyse monthly MIS reports, providing insights into financial performance. Conduct accurate balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial integrity and completeness. Develop and maintain performance forecasting models to support business planning and decision-making. Manage accounts receivable and debtor collections, ensuring timely follow-ups and minimization of outstanding dues.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and financial statement preparation. Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Requirements of the Finance Business Partner Role:

- Advanced Excel skills Studying towards ACCA/CIMA or AAT Exposure to month end and monthly management accounts First rate interpersonal skills Benefits of the Finance Business Partner Role:
