Corporate Treasury Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive Corporate Treasury Analyst to join their finance team in Paarl . This role is instrumental in managing the company's liquidity, financial risk, and capital markets activities. You will be involved in cash management, forecasting, debt management, and hedging strategies, contributing directly to the financial stability and operational efficiency of the organization. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial markets, working within the picturesque region of Paarl .

• Assist in managing daily cash operations, including cash positioning, wire transfers, and bank account reconciliation.
• Develop and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
• Support the analysis and execution of debt financing and investment activities.
• Assist in evaluating and implementing financial risk management strategies, including foreign exchange and interest rate hedging.
• Prepare treasury reports and presentations for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with treasury policies and relevant financial regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in corporate treasury, banking, or financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and treasury management systems (TMS) is desirable.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and risk management principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a hybrid work setting.
