About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to lead their FP&A function in Kimberley . This role will be responsible for driving the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, providing critical financial insights to support business strategy and operational decision-making. You will work closely with senior leadership across various departments to develop financial models, analyze performance, and identify key drivers of profitability and growth.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business intelligence, enabling strategic growth within the Northern Cape region.
- Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models for scenario analysis, business case evaluation, and long-range planning.
- Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying key trends and variances.
- Prepare insightful financial reports and presentations for senior management and the board of directors.
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to provide financial support and drive strategic initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the FP&A function and implement best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- MBA or CFA preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or a related field.
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial planning software (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion).
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and business operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive financial discipline.
