This role involves analyzing market data, developing trading strategies, and executing trades in various energy commodities (e.g., power, natural gas). You will play a crucial role in optimizing trading positions, managing risk, and maximizing profitability for the company. • Monitor and analyze energy commodity markets, including price movements, supply/demand fundamentals, and geopolitical factors.
• Develop and refine quantitative trading strategies based on market insights and risk parameters.
• Execute trades across various energy markets, managing positions and ensuring efficient settlement.
• Conduct post-trade analysis to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and report on trading activities.
• Manage trading risk, including market exposure, credit risk, and operational risk.
• Collaborate with risk management and back-office teams to ensure accurate trade processing and reconciliation.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in energy trading , financial analysis, or quantitative trading.
• Strong understanding of energy markets, including power, natural gas, and associated derivatives.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-stakes trading environment.
