About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Remote Trade Finance Specialist to manage international trade transactions. This role is critical for facilitating global commerce by providing expertise in areas such as letters of credit, documentary collections, and export/import financing, all while working in a remote capacity. You will ensure compliance with international trade regulations and manage client relationships to support their global business operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist to leverage their expertise in a flexible work environment and contribute to a leading international Banking & Finance firm.
- Process and manage various trade finance instruments, including letters of credit, guarantees, and collections.
- Advise clients on the complexities of international trade finance, including regulations and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant international trade laws, sanctions, and bank policies.
- Liaise with clients, correspondent banks, and other parties involved in international trade transactions.
- Monitor market developments and regulatory changes impacting trade finance.
- Identify opportunities to offer additional trade finance solutions to clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, International Business, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CDCS) are a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in trade finance operations or a related role within the banking sector.
- Strong understanding of UCP 600, ISBP, and other international trade finance rules and practices.
- Proficiency in trade finance software and banking systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
