Investment Analyst - Private Equity

Our client is seeking a sharp and driven Investment Analyst with a focus on Private Equity to join their globally recognized firm, operating remotely. This role offers an exciting opportunity to participate in the entire investment lifecycle, from deal sourcing and due diligence to portfolio management and exit strategies. You will conduct rigorous financial analysis, market research, and valuation modeling to support investment decisions.

• Conduct in-depth due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including market analysis, competitive landscape, and financial projections.
• Develop sophisticated financial models (DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis) to evaluate investment viability and potential returns.
• Assist in structuring and negotiating investment terms and agreements.
• Monitor the performance of portfolio companies, identifying areas for value creation and operational improvement.
• Prepare investment memorandums and presentations for the investment committee.
• Support the exit process for portfolio companies, including market analysis and sale process coordination.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry contacts, financial intermediaries, and management teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA) is a strong plus.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate finance.
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills.
• Strong understanding of valuation methodologies and investment appraisal techniques.
• Excellent research, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a fully remote environment.
