Senior Project Manager - Finance

About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in the Financial Services sector to lead critical projects in Stellenbosch. This role involves managing complex financial initiatives, ensuring they align with strategic business objectives and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets, mitigating risks, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within the financial domain.

This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a balance between in-office collaboration and remote work flexibility in the heart of the Western Cape's wine region.

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of major financial projects, adhering to scope, timeline, and budget constraints.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including internal departments, external partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies specific to financial projects.
• Oversee project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring clear communication channels.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant financial regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.

• Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years focused on financial services projects.
