About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial operations, operating remotely with their primary business operations near Mahikeng . This executive position is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including financial planning, risk management, investor relations, and reporting. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the company's financial strategy, driving growth, and ensuring fiscal responsibility.

This is a leadership role for an experienced finance executive who can provide strategic direction and manage financial performance in a dynamic, remote-first organizational structure.

• Develop and execute the company's financial strategy to support long-term growth and profitability.
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, financial planning, and analysis (FP&A).
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, reporting standards, and legal requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, lenders, and other financial stakeholders.
• Provide strategic financial guidance and leadership to the executive team and board of directors.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA and/or professional qualification (CA(SA), CPA) is mandatory.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, with a proven track record as a CFO or senior financial executive.
• Extensive experience in financial strategy, capital raising, M&A, and corporate finance.
• Deep understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and risk management principles.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex financial operations and drive business performance in a remote environment .
